I am the mother of 2 wonderful children. It was the birth of my own children that led me down this path of childbirth education and labor assistance. I feel pregnancy and birth is a magical time and I am honored to have this privilege of serving others during this special time in their lives.

I have been certified as a childbirth educator since 2002. I have taught many different types of couples during this time. I must fulfill continuing education requirements on a yearly basis to maintain my certification.

I also began attending births as a labor doula in 2002. I have attended many variations of labors as a labor doula, including some very long births, some very short births, emergency and scheduled cesareans. I am certified as a labor doula through Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA).  CAPPA also has continuing education requirements to maintain staus as a certified labor doula. I am also a Labor Doula Trainer for CAPPA.

My goal is to help families have the knowledge and support leading to a meaningful birth. Let me help you have the birth experience you desire.
